Course Description:
This course offers a comprehensive analytical study of Kitāb al-Īmān in Khaṭīb al-Tabrīzī’s famous book Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ, based on the classical text Fatḥ al-Ilāh by Imām Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad Ibn Ḥajar al-Haytamī. Students will also be provided a unique interactive approach to the classical study of Ḥadīth, enhancing their Arabic comprehension, grammar, and research capabilities while completing—bi idhni Allāh—the recital of Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ.
Course Objectives:
- In-depth study of Kitāb al-Īmān

- Completion of Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ recital (bi Idhni Allah)

Course Instructor:
ʿĀlimah Juwairiyyah Khurshid completed her ʿĀlimiyyah degree at Jāmiʿ Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, Scarborough, Ontario. She then went on to teach various classical texts of Ṣarf, Naḥw, Fiqh, Ḥadīth, and Tafsīr. She has experience teaching these subjects for seven years and is currently teaching ʿĀlimiyyah classes at Amānah Academy.
