General Overview

Talweeh Academy is offering a structured and academically rigorous Hadith Specialization Program dedicated to the service of the noble Prophetic tradition. For centuries, scholars and students have devoted their time, resources, and intellect to the preservation, transmission, analysis, and explanation of the Prophet’s (ﷺ) sayings and actions. At Talweeh Academy, we are honored to continue in this noble legacy, striving to be among those who uphold and serve the divinely inspired Sunnah.

This specialization program which ranges over 2 years is designed for students who possess proficiency in the Arabic language, a deep reverence for the science of Hadith, and the ability to engage in independent study and reading. The program aims to offer a detailed and comprehensive framework that equips students with foundational knowledge in the sciences of Hadith. It consists of 17 carefully curated courses, encompassing both theoretical foundations and practical applications.

Takhrīj al-Ḥadīth (تَخْرِيجُ الْحَدِيثِ)
Among the most important sciences serving the study of Ḥadīth is the science of Takhrīj al-Ḥadīth (تَخْرِيجُ الْحَدِيثِ). Every student of Islamic knowledge eventually encounters the statements of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whether in the study of jurisprudence, theology, Qurʾānic exegesis, ethics, or spirituality. However, correctly citing, locating, and verifying these narrations requires a specialized methodology developed by the scholars of Islam over many centuries.
